aRts (which stands for
analog real time synthesizer) is an audio framework that is no longer under development. It is best known for previously being used in
K Desktop Environment 2 and
3 to simulate an
analog synthesizer.
The arts
The arts represent an outlet of expression, that is usually influenced by
culture and which in turn helps to change culture. As such, the arts are a physical manifestation of the internal creative impulse. Major constituents of the arts include
